Big rooms, real amps, honest performances
Rock Recording
Rock records live on energy and performance, so we track them in a room built to capture it. Live drums, real guitar amps, and a band playing to each other are the foundation of a great rock recording, and our live room is set up to get everyone tracking together with the separation we need to keep control at the mix.
From classic rock and blues rock to alternative, punk, and post-hardcore, we shape the production and mix to the record you are making. Andrew has recorded with international rock artists including Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan, and that experience with big performances translates into every session, whether you are a working band or an artist cutting your first single.

FAQ
Rock FAQs
Can my whole band track live together?+
Yes. The live room is set up for full-band tracking with sightlines and enough separation to capture the energy of playing together while keeping control to fix or replace individual parts later.
Do you use real amps or amp sims?+
Both, to taste. We track real amps and cabinets in the room for authentic tone, and we can also capture clean DIs so you keep re-amping and amp-sim options open at the mix.
How long to record a rock single?+
A band single is usually one day for drums, bass, and guitars, and a second day for vocals and overdubs. We scope this in pre-production so you book the right time.
