Capture every nuance

Music & Band Recording

Multi-track recording for solo artists and bands in our treated production suite, with high-end microphones, preamps, and an engineer who knows how to capture a great take.

Every record starts with the performance. Our production suite is tuned for vocals, instruments, and overdubs, with accurate monitoring and a signal chain built around industry-standard microphones and preamps.

The suite runs on high-end microphones, preamps, and converters, so what lands on the multitrack is a true, detailed capture of the source. We track to a click or free, comp takes as we go, and keep the session organised and labelled so the mix stage is fast and painless. You are welcome to sit in and guide the sound, or trust the engineer to run the session while you focus on playing.

We record everything from a single acoustic guitar and vocal through to layered band arrangements tracked part by part. Sessions can be fully engineered, or booked as a dry hire if you bring your own engineer. Either way you get a session file that is clean, well gain-staged, and ready for our mixing and mastering stage or for export to your own mixer.

How It Works

  1. 01

    Pre-production

We talk through your songs, references, arrangements, and schedule so the tracking days are focused and efficient. Good preparation is the difference between a rushed session and a great one.

  2. 02

    Setup and tones

We mic up, choose preamps, and dial in tones for each source, checking phase and gain-staging so the raw tracks already sound like a record before a single fader moves at mix.

  3. 03

    Tracking

We capture takes, comp the best performances, and keep everyone locked in with clear headphone mixes. You can direct the room or leave it to the engineer.

  4. 04

    Handoff to mix

We tidy, label, and consolidate the session, then move it to our mixing stage or export stems for your own mixer.

FAQ

Music Recording FAQs

How many days do I need to record a song?+

A single band track is usually one day for drums, bass, and guitars, with a second day for vocals and overdubs. Solo acoustic songs can be done in a few hours. We scope this with you in pre-production so you book the right amount of time and are not paying for hours you do not need.

Can the whole band play together in the room?+

The production suite suits tracking vocals and instruments one part at a time, or smaller groups where the space allows. For full-band live tracking with everyone playing at once, talk to us about what you need and we can plan the best approach.

Do I need to bring my own engineer?+

No. Every session comes with an experienced tracking engineer unless you specifically want a dry hire. If you have your own engineer or producer, they are welcome to run the room and we can provide a tech to assist.

What do I get at the end of a recording session?+

You get a clean, labelled, well gain-staged session file plus consolidated audio ready for mixing. From there we can take it straight into our mixing and mastering stage, or you can take the files to any mixer you like.
