Production is where a song is built. Bring a voice memo, a rough demo, a beat, or nothing but an idea, and we develop it into a finished record. That means writing or refining the beat and chords, choosing sounds, arranging the sections, and playing or programming the instrumentation that makes the track move.

Andrew Nolan produces across genres and has worked with international artists, blending programmed production with live instrumentation recorded in the room. We can lean fully in-the-box for electronic and hip hop records, or combine live drums, guitars, bass, keys, and strings with programmed elements for a hybrid sound. The goal is always the record that serves the song, not a template.

Production runs alongside recording and vocal production, so a session can move from an idea to a tracked, produced, and arranged song in a focused block of time. We deliver a produced session ready for mixing, or take it all the way through our mixing and mastering stage to a finished master.

    We listen to your idea and references and agree on the direction, tempo, key, and feel so the production has a clear target.

    We build the beat, chords, and core arrangement, choosing sounds and programming or playing the parts that define the track.

    Instrument and top

    We add live instrumentation, develop the topline or vocal, and record the parts that make the record human.

    Arrange and hand off

    We arrange the full structure, tidy the session, and move it to mixing or deliver a produced session for your mixer.

Music Production FAQs

I only have a rough idea. Can you still produce it?+

Absolutely. Plenty of records start as a voice memo or a few chords. We take your idea and references and build the production around it, writing and playing whatever the song needs to become finished.

Do you produce electronic and hip hop as well as band music?+

Yes. We produce across genres, from fully in-the-box electronic and hip hop through to live band records, and we often blend the two into a hybrid sound.

Can I keep the stems and project?+

Yes. You receive the produced session and stems. Ownership and splits are agreed up front so everyone is clear on writing and production credits.

Do you offer session musicians?+

We do. We can bring in players for drums, guitars, bass, keys, strings, and more, or Andrew can play many of the parts in the session.
